As a life-long Buffalonian, with roots in this area over 160 years deep, I am quite fond for this area. If you'd like to find out what's going on in Western New York and the surrounding region, click on one of the links below. For out-of-towners, some of these might add up to a good excuse for a visit, and for residents these might be good reasons for appreciating our home just a little bit more.
Here are some events that are big enough to have their own home pages (a • green ball means it hasn't happened yet, or is currently happening, a • red ball means it's done for this year, and a • yellow ball indicates that the dates have been guessed). One of the best comprehensive sources of this kind of information is the WNY Events & Festivals Guide, published by the Bee Group Newspapers. Other good sources include The Buffalo News events page and the Williamsville Business Association's list of things to do.
It's great to have a full slate of events after what happened in 2020, or what I call "the year that wasn't."
And, on the topic of years past, here is the very first version of this page, dated August 23, 1994, and written in plain text without HTML.
