Day TripsCorning, NYAlmost every October, we spend a long weekend in Corning, which is a fabulous place to visit (especially in the Fall); I think the Finger Lakes region is one of the nices places on Earth. More >> Ridge Road StationIf you want to take a day trip that is about an hour and 15 minutes each way from Williamsville, and which combines: Unique local architecture and history; A really neat store that features Christmas ornaments, an incredible train layout, and more toys and hobby items than you can believe; and a fine meal to top it all off, then a drive up north to Ridge Road Station and the Cobblestone District is just for you! More >> The Town of Wilson, NYWe spent a very pleasant Sunday in the Town of Wilson, a place I highly recommend for fishing, boating, casual sightseeing, and just plain relaxing. The highlight for me was actually catching a fish; Here's a picture of me with "Old Fighter", the legend of the southern Lake Ontario shore!
