The Mighty Onondaga (our District) will be having a Cub Scout Fishing Derby on October 21st from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM at Camp Schoellkopf. The lake is being stocked with 500 8-10" trout plus larger prize trout. More information will be available on a flyer that will be distributed at our next Pack meeting.
On May 12, 2001, there will be an open house at Camp Scouthaven. It will run from 10 AM until 3 PM, with tours every half-hour. For more information, read this document. If you've never been to Camp Scouthaven before, this is a great way to meet the staff and find out what facilities are available.
On May 19, 2001, the Onondaga District will be holding a Scout Olympiad. The event will be held at the Johnny B. Wiley Stadium, the old "Rock Pile". There will be many competitive events for both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. For more information or questions, please call Cliff Hawkins @ 831-1320 or David Murphy @ 874-5877. There will be patches for all who participate and medals will be awarded to the champions in each age category and event.
