Pack Meeting Notes for November 27, 2000

The meeting was held in the Maple East auditorium, starting at 7:00 PM and ending at around 8:00 PM.

Here's what happened:

• We started with three members of the local Army Reserve Unit performing a military-style flag ceremony.
• The gentlemen from the Army then spent about 45 minutes talking about respect for the flag, the history of the flag, and how to properly display and present the flag. They did a great job, and patiently answered many good questions from our Scouts, who were obviously very interested in this presentation.
• We then had our Bobcat Ceremony, where 11 boys earned their Bobcat badges as their first big step into Cub Scouting.
• Popcorn money was also collected at this meeting.
