Committee Meeting Notes for November 16, 2000
The meeting was held at Maple East, in Room 50, at 7:00 PM, and ended at
around 8:00 PM.
The following items were discussed:
- Everyone was reminded about the popcorn pickup.
- The skating party at the Pepsi Center was a success.
- Three people from our Pack attended Pow-Wow, and came
back with lots of information.
- The December 18th Pack meeting was changed to December 19th
to avoid a conflict with the fourth grade concert, and to
accomodate the folks from the ZooMobile, who are going to
do a presentation on "Animals of the Rainforest".
- Den 4 will do the December flag ceremony.
- A Spring Outward Bound has been scheduled at the Penn Dixie site
in Hamburg on March 31, 2001, at 2:00 PM.
- Kathi will look into doing a newsletter for January.
- Darlene Carroll presented a few places for the Blue and Gold
Breakfast; the Old Red Mill was the clear favorite, and she
will look into reserving it.
- The January meeting will feature the Webelos ceremony and the
Arrow of Light ceremony, and the Blue and Gold will feature
the Wolf and Bear ceremonies and the Crossover ceremony.
- We have reserved campsite 5A at Camp Scouthaven for the
four-day resident camp session to be held on July 26-29, 2001.
The cost is $130, reservations this year will be made through
the Pack, not individually, and we will start publicizing
this very soon.
