Committee Meeting Notes for December 16, 1999

• $1,257 was raised for the Pack; 43 of 65 boys participated.
• Pinewood Derby cars were distributed to the Dens. The committee is working on the rules, and the computer will be upgraded.
• The Pack meeting will consist of collecting the food/Scout supply baskets, and some announcements. The Webelos ceremony won't take place, as they are not ready.
• The January Pack meeting will feature a combined Webelos Ceremony and Arrow of Light Ceremony.
• To show the rewards of doing well in a fundraiser, Scouts will not have to pay at this year's Blue & Gold Breakfast.
• A big discussion ensued concerning the fees imposed by Key Bank. Ron Kuntz and Mike Townsend will investigate alternatives.
• The Pinewood Derby committee will purchase 20 identical trophies.
• All Den Leaders should attend the Pinewood Derby in case decisions regarding their Scouts need to be made.
